The Tipsy Cow
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: $50 per team. All entries will be processed in the order they are received and are subject to availability. Registration forms are not not complete until payment is made. Deadline for entry is 9:00pm on Monday, September 20. Proceeds will benefit the Elsie Area Firefighters Association. Teams may register online ($2.25 online transaction fee will apply) or in person at The Tipsy Cow or the Village of Elsie.
TEAM COMPOSITION: Teams will consist of two people. Teams can be any combination of male and female players. All ages welcome. The number of teams will be determined by the number of entries.
SCORING:
- Each bag on the board = 1 point
- Each bag in the hole = 3 points
- Any bags touching the ground or “bounced” on to the board do not count and are to be removed prior to the next bag being thrown by the opposing team.
- First team to 21 wins – NO BUST
- Team who scored the most points on the previous turn will start next round. Higher seed starts next game throwing first.
- Total points for each team are calculated using only those points that were not canceled out. Example:
- Team 1 throws 1 bag in the hole and 3 bags land on the board for a total of 6 points;
- Team 2 throws 1 bag in the hole and 2 bags land on the board for a total of 5 points;
- Then Team 1 receives 1 point for that round.
RULES:
- Bags are tossed alternately one at a time.
- Bags must be tossed underhand.
- Foot foul applies when thrower’s foot lands past the front of the board.
- Double elimination. Winner moves on, losers to losers bracket.
- Bracket drawings are randomly assigned,
